The goal of the Supplemental Business Incentive Program is to identify electric efficiency projects, and to provide limited-time bonus incentives to ensure projects get completed. Making energy efficiency improvements to energy-intensive commercial and industrial facilities is a key strategy in controlling long-term power costs and avoiding the need for new, expensive
generation facilities. Energy efficiency improvements are a cost-effective way for businesses to remain competitive and sustain their future, the local economy, and our community.
Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities offers a supplemental incentive up to $1000, limited to 50% of the project cost, including other incentives, for electric energy efficiency projects completed by GS-1, CP-1, & CP-2 customers. Funds are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, as funds last, each calendar year. Funds can be used in addition to incentives provided by Focus on Energy (focusonenergy.com), Wisconsin’s statewide energy efficiency and renewable energy program.
Eligible customers must receive project/incentive approval by Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities prior to project installation.
