Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities will begin fall sewer cleaning the week of October 5. Routine sewer cleaning helps remove buildup, roots, and other debris from the sewer mains to keep the system flowing properly and reduce the potential for blockages.

While cleaning is taking place in your area, we recommend keeping toilet seats and lids closed. The sewer cleaning process can create changes in air pressure within the sewer system, which may cause toilets to bubble or splash.
If you notice bubbling, please check the water levels in your toilets and other plumbing fixtures. In most cases, this is temporary and does not indicate a problem with your plumbing.
