Public Power Week

Celebrate Public Power Week!

Public Power Week is a national event that takes place during the first full week of October each year. It provides an opportunity to acknowledge the more than 2,000 locally owned, not-for-profit electric utilities that collectively provide power to 48 million homes and businesses across the U.S.

The year, Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities is offering multiple connected home packages to help you enjoy your indoor spaces this fall. You have a chance to win a Ring doorbell, smart thermostat, Amazon Echo Dot, smart LED bulbs and other items. Fill out the online entry form to enter the drawing. The drawing will be held the week of October 26, so enter by the October 20 deadline for your chance to win.

“Public Power Week gives us the chance to emphasize the advantages of having local ownership and control of our community’s own electric utility,” said Greg Kuhn, Utility Manager. “Our service is customer-focused, reliable and safe, and we take pride in serving our friends and neighbors.”

Established in 1932, Oconto Falls Municipal Utilitiestoday provides electric, water, and wastewater services to homes and businesses in the City of Oconto Falls.
