PUBLIC NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS OF OCONTO FALLS WATER & LIGHT COMMISSION
Oconto Falls Water & Light Commission is proposing a sewer rate increase. Sewerrates were last increased October 2014. The change is necessary to reflect changes in operating costs and a need to review and adjust the rate structure.
The requested increase in revenues is an overall increase from the sewer utility’s present revenues of 6.82 %. The actual change to individual customers will vary with sewer usage and class of service. If the rate change is approved by the Oconto Falls Water & Light Commission as presented, the bills of residential customers would increase from a fixed charge of $37.15/month and a usage charge of $0.04630/cubic foot to $37.50/month and $0.05482/cubic foot. The average sewer user will see an increase of $3.81/month. Please review the attached document for specifics on the rate increase.
