September 4, 2022

A sanitary sewer overflow has occurred along Munsert Avenue approximately 100 yards to the south of the East Highland Drive and Munsert Avenue intersection in the City of Oconto Falls.

The overflow resulted from a force main breaking at the East Highland Drive lift station, causing raw sewage to seep out of the ground and onto the soil surface as well as some runoff down the curb line and into the storm sewer catch basin.
